Born and raised in the village of Middelburg in the Netherlands.
After completing my new design (spatial design) degree at AKV St Joost, I ended up in the Business and Consultancy world through my internship.
In this role I worked for 2.5 years as a multidisciplinary designer for several corporates from various sectors. While I work at a project I immerse myself in the subject matter required to fully meet client requirements. My vision of design is to create something that makes sense and contributes to improvement.
I like to speculate about the future. How will the world of design adapt to all the different behavioural and environmental changes. Over the last years designs had become more minimal to become very clear. But my opinion is that it is not always the best solution, because it removes the characteristic of a brand and it removes the reward for learning a new product.
